We had the honor of consulting with DIY enthusiasts, Victoria & Matthew on flowers for their charming New Orleans fête. Through private classes we were able to send our little nesting chicks flying high. Boy oh boy, are we proud!! We are so honored and excited to have been asked to participate in the GREAT BRIDAL EXPO in New York City at the Marriott Hotel Midtown. So if you or someone you know is getting married come on over and experience the magic! Oh! And get this, Full Aperture is the only Floral Studio for the whole event. Woot woot!! With that in mind we are gearing up! And gearing up at Full Aperture means FLOWERS FLOWERS FLOWERS. I'm in heaven!!

Butchart Gardens

What an amazing birthday present from my husband Aaron! When visiting family in the Pacific-Northwest, Aaron surprised me with a trip to the beautiful and historic Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC. It was gorgeous! I was entranced by all of the vibrant and texturized plant life. I saw so much, including wild Anemone flowers, Dahlia's the size of my face, Roses, burgundy Amaranths, Chocolate Cosmo's, curling branches, a mesmerizing spider web, foliage, foliage, foliage! AND BEES: beautiful and hard at work!

At one point it felt like we stumbled into The Secret Garden of Frances Hodgson Burnett's fantasy! Complete with floating-stone walk ways and a family of deer made entirely of moss.  Here are some of my favorite pictures of the day.
